Banff and Lake Louise are two separate towns located 40 minutes apart on the Trans-Canada Highway. It might be the most beautiful drive in the world. For skiers, a visit is not complete without skiing the ski resorts close to each town. Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay and Nakiska are close to Banff and Lake Louise Ski Resort is in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks with the Fairmont Lake Louise at one end.
