Heli Skiing in the US is dominated by Alaska but there are a number of heli ski operations in the continental United States. Telluride has an operation called Heli Trax. Silverton also offers a heli drop at Colorados' steepest heli skiing and backcountry expert ski area.

Utah has a few heli skiing operations that take people skiing in the Wasatch National Forest. The advantage of heli skiing in Utah is they have a major international airport within 45 minutes of most of the heli skiing locations.

Heli Skiing can be done in a group setting or as a private group with your own helicopter.

Idaho, Wyoming and Sun Valley Ski Resort all offer heli skiing options as does North Cascade in Washington State.
