The adventure started in the mountains of Chamonix in 1984, with Perfect Moment a vision of famed extreme sports filmmaker and professional skier Thierry Donard, who designed apparel for his team of expert free riders and surfers for his film production company La Nuit de Glisse. Donard used his personal experience to create designs that were characterized by quality, style and performance, and focused on the ultimate goal of every athlete: to experience that Perfect Moment. From then until today the mission has been to provide the ultimate performance-wear for snow and beach lovers alike and this winter solidifies Perfect Moment as the brand to wear both on and off the slopes.
The print of the season is a new geometric print, inspired by the dazzle camouflage painted on ships during World War One. The eye-catching two-tone print is seen across styles including the popular Polar Flare jacket, Aurora Flare pants, base layers and knits, ensuring you won’t go unnoticed on or off the piste.
The Autumn/Winter ’20 collection is no different and fuses style with high performance function and retro-chic silhouettes. Along with a signature color palette of red, snow white and navy, this season introduces a bright, fun and eye-catching color palette including lemon yellow, pure pink, and dark forest. The bold earth tones are reminiscent of the mountains and alpine forest, allowing us to stay connected even when we’re away from the slopes and the pastel colorways prompt memories of sunsets over the mountain peaks.
Updates to the après-ski wardrobe include slope-to-city puffer shapes, from cropped to oversized with new bold logo branding – all perfect for throwing over activewear or a merino wool one piece and relaxing after a long day on the mountain. For the chalet and cold days at home, the chunky cable knit sweaters and relaxed fit hoodies will fit right into your wardrobe.
New technical styles from the menswear collection include the Gus jacket and the Felix jacket, both with the iconic oversized chevron print.
