After a two-year wait, the W Aspen is going to make this winter a whole lot more fun, and may even make you feel a whole lot younger and hipper just by walking in the door.

This is the first Alpine W Escape in North America, and only the second Alpine location for this chic hotel chain – the W’s first, of course, is in Verbier, Switzerland. With this latest offering, the W Aspen and Sky Residences, the group is hoping to infuse the W’s signature style into one of America’s most famous ski resorts.

“We want to create an experience that brings to life our passion points of fashion, design and music in the greater context of the world-class Alpine ski village that is Aspen,” says Greg Durrer, Alpine W’s General Manager. “I see our hotel as a stage to showcase all of our passion points in every way possible.”

Not to miss this season is the recently re-invented 39 Degrees, a chic and intimate bar with a plush nod to Aspen’s past, and an internationally-inspired (though locally sourced) menu of fabulous food by Executive Chef Jacky Chao. As for the hotel, with just eighty-eight rooms and eleven privately owned Sky Residences, you’ll need to act fast to stake your claim for the upcoming season.

If that’s not enough to get you dialing for reservations, the W Aspen’s rooftop view – which may just be the best of any ski hotel in the world – may be the push you need. Perched at an altitude of over eight thousand feet, the “Wet Deck”, with its fire pits, cabanas, full bar and poolside dining – is a must.

Better make sure you’re ready to be seen at the W Aspen, because everyone will be looking!
