As I get older, I appreciate the word Vintage more and more. We are all familiar with the great Vintages in wine; like the 1961 Lafite Rothschild. Vintage is characterized by excellence, maturity, and enduring appeal; classic.
Yesterday I met an amazing group of women, all friends from Seattle, all dressed in vintage ski suites by Bogner; all ripping skiers. Their ski suits represented the last 40 years of Bogner “Onsies”. They were having such a great time on the mountain and represented all the reasons we enjoy skiing with friends. I met up with them while they were enjoying Rose on the deck of the Ajax Tavern. Always on the hunt for great content, we did a photo shoot out by the gondola. Talk about making an entrance, it was impossible to have been skiing Aspen Mountain yesterday and have missed them. We shot photos, drank wine, and one of the snow groomers took a few girls out for a spin in the new Pinroth cat to show them how Aspen makes “Corduroy”.
