Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle

The Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle is the only brand new event in the quest for the Triple Crown of Slopestyle.

Launching in 2017, this showcase of aerial acrobatics brings the freestyle element of gravity mountain biking in every Crankworx festival to the world’s epicenter freestyle sport– Innsbruck, Austria. This is a place known for big boosts, back-flips and gravity-defying extreme, whether on snowboard, skis or dangling from a climbing rope. The FMB’s best athletes will be pulling out their best as they launch into the unknown on a new course before seasoned mountain loving, action sport diehards of this fan base, and all on what could very well prove the pivotal stop for the Triple Crown of Slopestyle.

Alpine Whip-Off

The Crankworx Whip-Off is a spectacular highlight every year. In 2017 this thrilling contest will finally come to Innsbruck! So what’s it all about? The idea is to whip the back end of the bike as far out to one side as possible while sailing over the huge table-top jumps, before bringing it back into line for a safe landing. But the classic Whip is by no means the only trick on display. Visitors can look forward to everything from huge Backflips to stretched-out Supermans in front of the mountain skyline. The Whip-Off is THE perfect kick-off event on day one of Crankworx Innsbruck.

The Dual Speed & Style is a head-to-head competition carried out in a dual eliminator format. Two riders race against each other and try to make it to the finish as quickly as possible while performing the most stylish run. Spectators and fans can look forward to cool tricks on the dual course featuring step-ups, tables and drop-offs.

Pump Track Challenge

Pump Track Challenge

“Pump for victory” is the name of the game at the Pump Track Challenge on the new course at the Bike park Innsbruck. Competitors must complete the circular track without pedalling – all they are allowed to do to build up speed is pump their bike up and down over the rollers and obstacles. The first one to the finish wins.

Crankworx Innsbruck Downhill

On Saturday all eyes will be on the new downhill course in Götzens. Packed with jumps, roots and technical sections, it will see top international riders and fast locals go up against each other in a race against the clock. The fastest riders at Crankworx Innsbruck Downhill receive prize money, with the top 15 also getting valuable UCI points. This spectacular event is perfect for spectators in search of thrilling action. Come along, cheer on the riders and get ready to have your mind blown!
