We at SNOW are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our favorite photographers Antonio Cordero.
We met you in 2018 when stylist Carol Gamarra recommended you for a shoot. You came to Marbella, where we did two editorial stories. We began with a shoot based on Truman Capote’s Mascarade Ball at a fabulous property in Marbella and then did a Jungle shoot at my friend’s hotel, Jardines de la Reina.

Next, we worked together in Innsbruck, Austria, and at a hunting lodge in the Kuhtai, and our creative relationship evolved.

You were always open to every idea and so committed to even the smallest details. No idea was too crazy. When I told you I wanted to shoot ski fashion in a bull ring in Spain with a Matador, you not only didn’t balk but also jumped into it wholeheartedly. We ran around the town of Antequera and shopped for items that would bring the shoot together. No one was more surprised than I when you had Liza sitting by the pool and Micah emerging from the pool to serve her a Snow Tequila cocktail.

As if that wasn’t enough, we headed to Chefchaouen, Morocco, the Blue City to shoot skiwear in Africa. The images are stunning, and you brought so much to the project. I love when you would get excited and say things like “Guapa, Guapa, Guapa”. It was never just a job. Our relationship was mostly professional, but because it was creative, it was intimate.

Your talent and passion are evident in every shoot we did together. I’m so sorry that your family and friends don’t have the joy of your presence in their lives.

I will treasure all the images you created for us and keep your spirit in my heart.
