The iconic coastal Italian hospitality brand will re-open Marea at The Snow Lodge on June 10th at The St. Regis Aspen Resort

Following a highly successful debut winter season, Marea Aspen will reopen on June 10, 2026 at The St. Regis Aspen Resort for its first summer residency, marking the next evolution of Marea’s presence in one of the country’s most dynamic seasonal markets.

Originally launched in Aspen this past winter, Marea quickly established itself as a sought-after dining destination for both locals and international travelers. The summer reopening builds on that momentum, introducing a lighter, more seasonal expression of the restaurant’s signature coastal Italian cuisine—tailored to the rhythm and energy of Aspen in the warmer months.

Under the direction of Executive Chef PJ Calapa, the summer menu reflects a shift toward vibrant, ingredient-driven dishes that highlight both coastal influences and regional produce. New seasonal additions include dishes such as ricciola with hamachi, Palisade peaches, and Calabrian chilies, and moleche (soft shell crab) with Rocky Ford melon, prosciutto, and basil, alongside the introduction of a Marea lobster roll designed for a more relaxed, outdoor dining sensibility. The menu will continue to evolve throughout the season, emphasizing freshness, balance, and refinement.

The cocktail program follows suit with bright, effervescent offerings, including the Baciato dal Sole, a refreshing blend of limoncello, gentian liqueur, vermouth di Torino bianco, and club soda, alongside new seasonal compositions.

“We are delighted by the success of our first winter season in Aspen at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, where Marea resonated deeply with both the local community and visiting guests,” said Ahmass Fakahany, Founder and CEO of Altamarea Group. “Given the strong demand and continued momentum, extending into the summer is a natural next step—allowing us to welcome new guests and present Marea through a different seasonal lens in Aspen. The market has proven to be an exciting opportunity for us as we continue to grow and evolve the Marea brand globally.”

“Our first season in Aspen was an exciting opportunity to introduce Marea’s cuisine in the mountains, and the response exceeded expectations,” added Chef PJ Calapa. “Moving into the summer allows us to continue that dialogue with guests in a different way—lighter, more seasonal expressions of the menu, while staying true to the identity of Marea. It’s a chance to build on the energy we created this winter and evolve the experience for the season.”

Set within The St. Regis Aspen Resort, the restaurant maintains its signature balance of polished elegance and inviting warmth, transitioning seamlessly from leisurely summer lunches to vibrant evening dining. The Aspen outpost represents the third U.S. location for Marea, alongside its flagship in New York and its Beverly Hills location, further cementing the brand’s expansion into key luxury markets.
