MISSION | Corbeaux is a socially responsible company committed to making rugged & stylish performance clothing from environmentally-friendly fabrics, right here in the USA.

MEANING | Corbeaux is French for “ravens”, a symbol that permeates mountain cultures across the globe. From the Alps in Chamonix, to the Andes in Chile and the high peaks of Africa, the raven embodies the souls of lost skiers and climbers watching over those still playing in the mountains.

FABRIC PRINCIPLES | Corbeaux is committed to using fabrics sourced from recycled or renewable sources. In doing so, we vow to not compromise performance. We also refuse to commit to a single fabric or fiber in order to allow for our own evolution alongside the ever-changing technology of the textile industry.

FABRIC ETHOS

We strive to use recycled materials that allow us to divert waste from landfills, and consequently reduce pollution and energy consumption. Bluesign Technologies sets the highest standard regarding environmental and consumer protection throughout the supply and manufacturing chain. The process used to mill our fabrics diverts waste from landfills by using recycled post-consumer PET plastic bottles & postindustrial waste as the base material. Our Energy Saving Yarn (ESY) is uniquely engineered to be dyed at a significantly lower temperature than traditional yarns, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions by nearly 50%.

SILKweight

4 Season

Our lightest weight fabric is quickdrying, fastwicking, breathable and comfortable. Styles made from this 4-season fabric will help regulate body temperature during high exertion activities throughout the entire year. With an impressive warmth-to-weight ratio, our SILKweight products can be worn alone or under other layers.
