Efficient training thanks to improved communication

CEECOACH “connects” up to six persons over large distances

Whether cross country or during training, communication can sometimes be very difficult. And communication becomes virtually impossible once you’re out of hearing distance. This problem has now been solved, thanks to an innovative device based on Bluetooth^® technology that guarantees stable voice communication for a distance of up to 500 meters. Whether for sports in the outdoors, on the ski slopes or group lessons, CEECOACH enables uninterrupted and direct communication for two to six participants. This state-of-the art communication system is resistant against splash water, dust, heat and cold. With just three buttons, the device is extremely easy to operate – even while wearing gloves. For its innovative design, CEECOACH was awarded the international Red Dot Design Award in 2015.

Renown professional athletes such as multiple Olympic medalist in dressage Isabell Werth or the German Association of Ski Instructors (DSLV) make use of the device for one-on-one training as well as group instruction. Due to its high audio quality, the trainer’s instructions are clearly audible even in the case of strongly interfering background noises and the students can respond directly. “This makes training even more effective and learning success can be improved sustainably”, says Jeroen Brinkman, Commercial Director at peiker CEE.

CEECOACH also offers additional safety with its stable audio connection when freeriding, touring, mountain biking or climbing in the outdoors. As the communication system is based on Bluetooth^® technology, it can also be connected to a mobile phone. This way, incoming calls can be answered comfortably and with ease.

CEECOACH was developed by the Hesse-based automotive supplier peiker, a leading provider of components for state-of-the art communication technology in automobiles. The communication device is marketed by peiker CEE, which was established in 2015, and which is predominantly specialized in the consumer electronics market.

The advantages of the innovative communication system even convinced the international jury of the ISPO AWARD. CEECOACH was chosen as “Gold Winner” in the category product category ski accessories, tracking hardware & mobile devices.
