Ski Resorts Switzerland

The ski resorts in Switzerland are well known throughout Europe, from the super glamorous St. Moritz to the equally glamorous Gstaad to freeskier mecca Verbier and then onto Zermatt.

There are a number of reasons to ski in Switzerland, the scenery is beyond compare. Looking at the Matterhorn as you ride up the tram is worth the ride alone. There is a reason Switzerland is famous for its cheese. Most ski resorts are on Alps where cheese is made in the summer months. Don't come back without trying the Raclette Emmental or Gruyere. Oh and another thing Switzerland is famous for is chocolate. When you are skiing hard all day burning lots of calories you can replenish them with cheese and chocolate.

St. Moritz offers some of the best hotels in the world including Badrutt's Palace, The Kulm, The Kempinski, and more. Gstaad is still as exclusive as when all the movie stars went skiing there in the 50s.
