The “other sides” of Buttermilk – West Buttermilk and Tiehack are on opposite sides of Buttermilk and offer two completely different access points to the mountain. Hop on the new West Buttermilk high-speed quad and cruise the long, mellow beginner terrain. Tiehack is the “steeper” side of Buttermilk with long, rolling double fall line runs like Javelin and Racer’s Edge. With the NEW Tiehack high-speed chair lift, the ride is only a mere seven minutes long now!
Aspen/Snowmass operates four destination mountains – Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk – and is the home of the ESPN Winter X Games through 2013.
