Sculpted in Time: The Wise Man
The first episode is cinematic poetry. The visuals and the story resonate with truth and authenticity. Single images stick in your mind and stay with you like the cut glass in the shape of mountain peaks.

Watching The Wise Man is a visceral experience that makes you long for the first powder day of the season. The mountain scenery of Norquay, Banff and Lake Louise is breathtaking and the music is soulful and thought provoking.

The Wise Man at 88 years of age rips like he is a teenager and as he speaks about his “piano years” and reflects on the harmony of his life, you can’t help but think about your own story.

Can’t wait to see the next episode called “The Character”.

Born in 1926, the same year Mt. Norquay was established, Eddie has been skiing Banff’s first ski resort for over 80 years. Eddie escorts the viewer through Norquay’s past and present, sharing the impact the mountains have had in his life and which he proudly passes onto his children.
