Deer Valley’s Swanky Ski Hotel

In 2009, St. Regis Deer Valley’s Deer Creek Resort made the record books by installing the first Funicular lift in North America.

Check out the first Funicular lift in North America at the St. Regis Deer Crest Resort. The custom-made, self-leveling coaches (there are two) shuttles guests between a welcome building at Deer Valley’s base and the cliff-hugging complex 500 feet above in a blazing 90 seconds. If that’s not impressive enough, the resort itself sounds pretty spectacular, with a year-round infinity pool (in Utah!), a Reméde spa, a Jean-George restaurant, and direct access to the slopes.
