SNOW magazine had the chance to put the new Stöckli Stormrider 95 to the test on the slopes of Aspen Mountain for our annual Boutique Ski test.

Testers found this ski to be a great option for carving at high speeds on groomers and for the advanced skier looking for an all mountain rip stick. Versatile enough for off-piste terrain and perfect for powder days, The Stormrider is you perfect weapon to brave a snow storm.

Mike Shea calls it a ski with “very good edge hold in short and long radius turns but that requires attention, this ski is not going to turn for you”. Georgie Bremner says its perfect for the “strong skier that lives somewhere or visits where the snow is thick”

From Stöckli: The Stormrider 95 plows along unflinchingly even over demanding terrain and gets along well with all snow conditions. Equipped with the Powder Rocker and TiTec, it is torsionally rigid, directional stability, and nevertheless very light. And, like all Stormrider models, it is guaranteed to attract attention with a direct printed Titanal top sheet. A ski that follows your thoughts and translates them into action.
